Ocean Rose is a classic double-ended cutter rigged 1978 Southern Cross 28,
which Sailing magazine described as a “sturdy cruiser that is capable of mighty
blue water passages”. Ocean Rose is hull #14 built by the Ryder Company in
Bristol, RI. The interior was custom built by the original owner, a marine
serivces professional and skilled carpenter. She has been the beneficiary of
numerous updates and has been well-maintained by her current owner.
