The legendary 1987 54 Bertram is world renowned and a proven fish raising battle
wagon. She is an amazing rough water cruising sport fisherman. Bertram
introduced the original 54 Convertible in 1981 and went on to build only 177
hulls before production ended in 1992. By any standard, she was a classic boat
with all of the assets required in a purebred sportfishing yacht. The large
cockpit of the Bertram 54 has a removable in-deck fish box, tackle center and
livewell, tuna door with gate, and engine room access.
Repowered 10 years ago with desirable Cat C18’s she will cruise at 28 knots
comfortably. She was also painted 10 years ago along with many interior upgrades
including Sub Zero drawer style fridge and freezers. Other notable upgrades
include a new generator and Sea Keeper 9 installed in 2019. All electrical and
systems have been checked and perform to spec. Many upgrades like a Garmin
system which is tied to the new large LED TV in the salon and also include a new
fuel monitoring system. Any deficiencies found in the previous survey have been
addressed.
She has bunk accommodations for 8 with a custom double bunk stateroom to port,
bunk stateroom to starboard and a double bunk stateroom in the bow. Also find 3
heads with vaccu-flush toilets. This offshore dream boat has a water maker,
large live well and ice maker to make those overnight canyon trips more
manageable. Feel comfortable running to the Bahamas for an extended stay with
all the conveniencesĀ built in.
Don’t miss this opportunity to own a very well-maintained legendary fishing
machine
